#9. You look great today.

Thanks in great part to my very great friend for her awesomely great birthday gift, I can scratch another line item from my list of things to do.

I recently received a robin egg blue box with one of my favorite words on it:  Tiffany's.  I'm a not a great diamond admirer however I can't get over the old-time Tiffany's nostalgia - if Marilyn loved Tiffany's...

She made me the most beautiful calling cards; exactly the cards I would have chosen.  Half size on ivory card stock - very simply and very lovely - the words - "You look great today."  In even smaller letters on the back of the card - the bee.

I have given out 3 cards so far.

#1.  Of course, Mama Bee.  She has never looked bad a day in her life.
#2.  At the Faith No More Concert at the Williamsburg Waterfront.  I spied a cute blonde wearing a pink baby doll dress, brown frye boots and lovely tattoos.Just the perfect blend of sweet and saucy.  I was nervous.  I sauntered up to her and handed the card over; mumbling something incoherent.  Then i ran!
#3.  At B-side on Monday.  One of the lady bartenders was there for happy hour.  We were the only chicks at the bar.  She said:  She needed to find some women who might appreciate her new jumper and purse.  I asked her to show off.  I decided she did look great that day.  i gave her a card.  She still has it!

I'm so happy to give these sweet moments to people.
